A panel of OT practitioners will discuss the roots of OT and non- traditional practice settings such as pelvic health, mental health, holistic health, home modifications and sensory integration.

This event is free to all OT practitioners in the state, so bring your colleagues. Light refreshments will be provided, as well as an opportunity to network and support RIOTA.

The function and powers of RIOTA include:
Act as an advocate for the profession of occupational therapy.
Improve and advance the education and collaboration of occupational therapy practitioners.
Promote research in the profession of occupational therapy.
Encourage high standards.
Engage in other professional and community activities to further the dissemination of knowledge of the practice of occupational therapy.
Cooperate with other individuals or groups concerned with health-related issues.
Increase consumer awareness of application of occupational therapy practice in the community and the scope of occupational therapy practice to assist an individual to achieve life pursuits.
