RIOTA Pediatric Special Interest Group (SIG)
Presents: Bag of Tricks for School-Based Therapists
Date: October 4, 2023
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm
Presenter: Pediatric Chair, Lise Faulise
Objectives:This presentation will include three topics of discussion:
1. Juggling the OTA/OTR relationship in the school
2. Dysgraphia and related services
3. Social-emotional regulation concerns-where does OT fit in
The format of this meeting is to have participants join in, offer points of view and examples, share stories and treatment techniques that worked (or didn’t work) as an open discussion. There will be a facilitator but this is not a lecture style meeting. Other topics can also be introduced and discussed so come with your ideas.
Please bring a friend, share with a colleague as this is the kickoff to a busy pediatric special interest section year! We would love to hear your ideas for future meetings and ways to support our pediatric therapist members.
Zoom link will be emailed to registered attendees 24 hours in advance of event.
